What is a tarpapel?
A tarpapel is a large poster assembled from smaller sheets of ordinary paper. It is useful for classroom displays, event signs and large drawing templates when you have a home or school printer.
Which paper sizes can I use?
A4 is 210 × 297 mm. Letter or short bond is 8.5 × 11 inches. Long bond is 8.5 × 13 inches. Legal is 8.5 × 14 inches. Select the size your printer actually supports, and match it again in the print dialog.
Will my photo look sharp?
Large posters need large source images. The quality note estimates resolution at your chosen size; export is rasterized at 144 DPI. A higher export resolution cannot restore missing detail in a small original.
How large can my poster be?
Choose up to 8 sheets across and 8 down, or 64 poster sheets. The finished dimensions include the selected overlap. Larger sets take more time and memory to export, especially on phones.
Do you upload or keep my image?
No. Image decoding, preview and PDF creation happen in your browser. Reloading the page clears the image. We record simple usage events, without the image, file name or poster contents. See our privacy page.
